Weightlifting Belts

Our weightlifting belts collection covers every RDX belt for powerlifting, Olympic lifting, CrossFit, and general strength training — lever, prong, and velcro closures in leather, nylon, and neoprene construction.

A weightlifting belt increases intra-abdominal pressure to stabilise the spine during heavy compound lifts — squats, deadlifts, overhead pressing, and Olympic lifts. For most recreational lifters, a belt becomes meaningfully beneficial once you are lifting at or near your bodyweight in these movements.

Leather belts provide the most rigid support and are preferred by serious powerlifters and strength athletes. The RDX RD1 4-inch cowhide powerlifting belt is the benchmark choice for squats and deadlifts. The RDX T1 lever belt allows fastest on/off between sets. For competition, several RDX models are approved by IPL and USPA — check the product page for your federation's specific requirements.

Nylon belts (RDX RX1) are lighter, more flexible, and ideal for CrossFit and Olympic lifting where hip mobility during the lift matters. Neoprene belts (RDX X3) are a comfortable middle ground — more support than nylon, more flexibility than leather.

Widths: 4-inch (most versatile) and 6-inch (maximum lower back coverage for heavy powerlifters). Leather belts require 4–8 weeks of break-in use before reaching optimal comfort. Free shipping on all orders.
