Frequently Asked Questions
- Will this buckle fit my existing lever belt?
The T1 buckle is designed to fit all standard lever belts. Most powerlifting lever belts use a standard width and screw-mount system that this buckle is compatible with. If your belt uses a non-standard proprietary mounting, check the belt manufacturer's specifications before purchasing.
- How do I install this buckle on my belt?
Most lever belt buckles attach via two screws on the back of the buckle plate. Remove the old buckle by unscrewing it from the belt strap, position the new T1 buckle in the same location, and secure with the screws. A flat-head or Phillips screwdriver is typically all you need. Check the fit is snug before training under load.
- Is this sold with a belt, or just the buckle alone?
This is a buckle only — no belt is included. It is intended as a replacement part or upgrade for an existing lever belt. If you need a complete lever belt, RDX also offers full lever belt sets.
- What is the difference between chrome-plated and stainless steel buckles?
Chrome-plated buckles have a steel base coated with a thin layer of chromium, providing corrosion resistance and a bright finish at a lower price point. Stainless steel buckles are made from a corrosion-resistant alloy throughout, making them more durable long-term in high-sweat environments. Both are fully functional; the stainless option is better suited for longevity under heavy use.
